Chapter Sixteen

On page 166, the Justice of the Peace said, "I don't see any reason to let the law interfere with justice around here.  We never did before."  What do you think that means?

  3. Justice of the Peace thinks that laws don`t matter.it wouldn`t hurt anybody.

  5. Please reread the quote and think about this some more. The Justice of the Peace doesn't want the law to interfere with justice. Perhaps you need to better understand the meaning of justice.
