Chapter Thirteen

Jack and Praiseworthy seem to have a knack for turning bad fortune into good.  What is the most recent example of this, and how do you think Praiseworthy was able to anticipate this turn of events?

    The most recent time is when Jack accidently bought the bushel of teckties and they sold them to the miners when Quartz Jackson came back with his wife.

    It is when Jack accedeintly spent some of his gold to buy a bushel of neckties.Praiseworthy knew that Quartz Jackson`s wife was coming.So that was very lucky.

    It was when jack by mistake bought a bushel of neckties and then the miner wanted them because Quartz Jackson is coming back with his wife, so the miners bought the neckties.
