Any ideas about where Megan and Sandy's mom went and/or why she went there?  Please explain your thinking.

What shall we call this chapter?

Chapter Five

Megan is feeling quite betrayed: by her mother for shutting her out, and by Sandy for not taking this matter seriously enough and going fishing with Grandpa.  Is she right to feel this way?  Please explain your thoughts on each of the two situations.

Chapter Four

When you read chapter 4, after Megan and Sandy landed on the island, what adjective came to mind that describes how this island seemed to you?

Using context and your background knowledge of the story up to that point, what do you think "incredulous" means?
