Chapter Ten

There were a few new things that Jack learned about Praiseworthy in this chapter.  What were they and why did they surprise him?

    First of all, Jack learned that Praiseworthy has a good punch (lol) and he was surprised by that because Praiseworthy is always so prim and proper. He also learned that Praiseworthy keeps a picture of Aunt Arabella in his bag.

    Great comment, Shannon! I love how you described Praiseworthy as "prim and proper." Did you understand what made his punch more powerful than it might normally have been?

    What do you (everyone) think Jack thought about when he discovered that Praiseworthy had the picture of Aunt Arabella?

    I think Jack was thinking Praiseworthy really cares about Jack,his sisters and Aunt Arabella.
