Chapter Seven

After their somewhat hostile introduction, the boy on the island grew more friendly and welcoming, and Sandy reciprocated, yet Megan remained hostile and indifferent.  Why?

    I think that's because Sandy is also a boy and Megan is a girl, so they kind of feel like they shouldn't be friends.

    i think because Megan is a girl and that sandy is a voy so they might fell weird to megan to be friend with a boy woh is a stranger.
