Chapter Fourteen

Please reread, stating with the last paragraph on page 126, going through the second paragraph on page 128.  During this time, Megan has several questions concerning her as they row out to the island.  Please share your thoughts on any possible answers (and why you think what you do) to any of those questions.

    When she said why were only daddy`s pictures lost I think the answer of that question is her mom probally burned them. I think she did that because so she her childeren could never see what he looked like. I think that margaret girl is actully Megan. I think her mom was hiding them from her grandpa because he might be with the government and maybe the government is chasing after them for a good reason.

    When she thought why were her dads pictures lost? And the answer is most likely that her mom burned them and that the government is chasing them for a very good reason.

    I think the answer of that question is Megans mom probaly burried or burnt the pictures.But i am not really sure why she would do it.

    Ya I agree with you Lexi, but why would Megans mom hide the pictures from Megan and her brother Sandy.

    I think that her Mom might have burned all of the pictures of Daddy or threw them out. I also think that Megan might be Margaret and that Sandy is really someone else too. I also think that the other Grandpa might think that Megan's Mom killed Daddy and he is out to get them.

    I think lexi is right that her mom burned the pictures except i think it is not because she didnt want them to see what he looks like. She doesnt want to remember him and she might want to leave the past being the past. Also i think Margaret is Megan or her mom.

    Well Justine there father might be a horrible person and her mom might not want Megan and Sandy to see what he looks like.

    Yes Mr.B, that does seem very weird. Justine, I think that it is because he might be on the news as "Missing".
