Chapter Seventeen

Can you connect the dots?  Please reread the paragraph near the top of page 170 that begins "It was a moment..." and then the last paragraph of the chapter on page 180.  Do you see any connections here?  What does this tell you about Jack?

    yes it tells me that he felt so proud of him because he struck it rich because he found gold.
    in bith paragraphs he was happyabout finding gold

    He felt so proud of him because he found gold. and he had changed a lot because of Jack being called plain Jack.

    That Jack was excited in both paragraphs.On page 170 Jack was excited because he found gold.On page 180 Jack was excited for Praiseworthy for knocking out the Mountain Ox.
