Do you think it was a good idea for the Yankee Trader to sell his spoiled potatoes to Mr. Azariah Jones? Why did they do this little trade? What idea would you have come up with if you were Jack?

ReplyDeleteGreat question, Shannon (except it was Mr. Jones who sold the potatoes [to Monsieur Gaunt])! Mando and Justine -- think about why Monsieur Gaunt wanted those "stale" potatoes. Perhaps you need to reread.

ReplyDeleteI think it was a good idea because there is fresh water in the peel of the patatoe.So thats a good deal for both of them.I didn`t know there was water in the peel so i would of never thought of that.
